	"Greater Tuna" at the Showboat Theatre	May 9, 10, 16, 17, 8 p.m., May 11, 2 p.m. Delightfully entertaining two-act comedy about a typical small town day, set in Tuna, Texas, the third smallest town in Texas. 	Air National Guard Band Performance	May 17, 2 p.m. Air National Guard returns to Clara Eitmann Messmer Amphitheatre for Armed Forces Day Concert. No admission charge; bring lawn chairs.
	Loehnig German Band--Maifest	May 17, 18, noon- 5 p.m. Loehnig German Band performs at Stone Hill Winery Pavilion for Maifest. Chilled wine, brats and other food available.
	Hermann City Band Concert	May 26, 7:30 p.m. at Clara Eitman Messmer Amphitheatre. Hermann City Band celebrates Memorial Day. No admission. Bring lawn chairs.
June	Wine Country Follies at Showboat	June 5, 2:15 p.m. Wine Country Follies provide matinee performance at Showboat Theatre. Tickets $10 for adults; $5 for under 12. On sale at Hermann Welcome Center.
	Sutu Forte Review Concert	June 6, 6 p.m. at Eitmann Amphitheatre, sponsored by Crusade Against Cancer and Hermann Arts Council. No charge. Fundraising auction.
	Edible Flowers Dinner & Talk	June 6, at the Cottage Restaurant, sponsored by Hermann Garden Club. Dinner features edible flowers, followed by talk entitled "Grow Native." Limited space. For reservations call 573-486-4300.
	Annual Hermann Garden Tour and Plant Sale	June 7-8, sponsored by Hermann Garden Club. Tour incredible gardens in and around Hermann.
	2nd Annual Taste For the Arts Festival	June 7-8. Hermannhof Winery and East Central College present a weekend of quality arts and music in Downtown Hermann.
	5th Annual Poster Contest	June 16, 5 p.m. is the deadline for entries in the 5th Annual poster contest, sponsored by the Hermann Arts Council. The theme is: "Schiller: What's In A Name." For more information contact Lauren Schubert at laurenschubert@centurytel.net
	Annual Katy Trail State Park Bike Ride	June 16-20. Annual bicycle ride across Missouri overnights in Hermann on June 16.

	2nd Annual Hermann Wine Trail 7-Hills Bike Ride	June 29, Seven Hills of Hermann Bike Ride, sponsored by Hermann Wine Trail. Rides of 30 and 60 miles. Details coming soon.
July	Jake Clayton returns	July 3, Jake Clayton returns to the Clara Eitmann Messmer Amphitheatre for another Hermannperformance. Clayton, a rising star, is a native of Mexico, MO and plays 25 instruments.
	Hermann Celebration of Freedom	July 4, parade, games for kids, concerts, food, fireworks and fun at Riverfront Park and Amphitheatre. Sponsored by Hermann Area Chamber of Commerce. Call 1-800-932-8687.
	Hermann City Band Concert	July 4, 7:30 p.m. Hermann City Band performs at amphitheatre as part of Independence Day activities in Hermann.
	Wine Country Follies at Showboat Theatre	July 5, 3 p.m. Wine Country Follies at the Showboat Theatre to celebrate nation's birthday. Featuring patriotic sing-along. Tickets $10; under 12 $5. Hermann Welcome Center.
	Cajun Concert on the Hill	July 11-13 at Stone Hill Winery. Ed Gary and the Louisiana Cajun Aces from Louisiana provide three days of toe-tappin' Bayou music. Plenty of cajun food available. Call 1-800-909-9463.

August	Hermann City Band Concert	August 3, 7:30 p.m. Hermann City Band performs at amphitheatre.
	Great Stone Hill Grape Stomp	August 9, Stone Hill Winery. Annual charity event; registration starts at 11 a.m. with stomping starting at 1 p.m. Live music.
	Big Band Dance at Stone Hill Winery	August 23, 8-11 p.m. featuring the Blue Knights. Advance tickets only. For information call 1-800-909-9463.
	Annual Hermann Poster Contest Reception	August 30, 6 p.m., German School Museum. Reception to unveil winner of Hermann's 2008 poster competition. Refreshments and entertainment. No charge.
September	River City Cruisers Car Show	September 7, Annual River City Cruisers Car Show in Hermann City Park. Registration 9 a.m.-noon. Show begins at noon; public welcome, no charge.
	TOUR OF MISSOURI	September 13. Hermann serves as Host City for the start of Stage 6 of Missouri's second Tour of Missouri professional cycling race.

November	Holiday Fare Wine Trail	November 15-16. Follow the trail to seven family-owned wineries where a delectable holiday dish is paired with each winery's perfectly matched wines. Tickets $25. Advanced purchase required and tickets are limited.

	Hermann Christmas House Tour	December 6, 2-7 p.m. Tour historic homes in Hermann area as part of annual Holiday House Tour, sponsored by Chamber of Commerce. Tickets $10.
